Job Description

Position: Truck Driver for Highway Heavy Construction

We are looking for a minimum of 3 years of experience driving belly dump, side dump and tandems on highway projects.  A clean driving record and CDL is required with proper endorsements and valid medical card.  Must perform proper vehicle operation techniques, daily inspections and preventative maintainence, maintain a clean truck and present a professional appearance. Ensure loads are evenly balanced and secured.  Properly fill out haul sheets and have good communications skills.

Overtime and travel often required.

You must comply with all of KGM’s safety standards and Federal DOT rules and regulations.

Job Duties include:

Loading and unloading of equipment ranging from asphalt, concrete and dirt moving equipment

Moving Aggregate Crushing  and Asphalt Plants

Proper Load Securement

Inspecting truck, trailer and other loads

Understanding of permitting oversize loads
